Background information:
AgroCredit Latvia is a non-bank lender which is offering financing for Latvian farmers. Mainly current assets for grain growers are financed and the loans are repaid after the harvest. The credit policy of the company is conservative, only professional long-term players in the market are financed. As a result the quality level of the credit portfolio stands well above the average level of the non-bank lender sector. The credit resources for the financing are ensured by the equity of the company, bank and investment fund financing and issued bonds.
