COMMENTARY TO FINANCIAL RESULTS 06/99

 

The consolidated H1 1999 net sales of Tallinna Külmhoone AS 

amounted 

to 210.9 million EEK. Compared to the same period last year (H1 

1998 

net sales 156.9 million EEK), the company's net turnover increased 

by 

34.4% or 54 million EEK. 

 

Total amount of ice-cream sold in H1 1999 was 1658.3 tons. Compared 

to the respective result of 1998 (1550.9 tons), sales volume 

decreased by 6.9% or 107.4 tons. Total amount of ice-cream sold in 

June was 561.4 tons.

 

In H1, 160 tons (9.6% of total ice-cream realization) of ice-cream 

was exported; H1 ice-cream export volume in 1998 was 164 tons.

 

H1 pre-tax profit of Tallinna Külmhoone AS totaled 9.87 million 

EEK; 

the respective figure last year totaled 7.97 million EEK.
