ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON EESTI KINDLUSTUS

 

 

During the first quarter of 1999 Eesti Kindlustus collected EEK 64 

million worth of insurance premiums and paid claims worth EEK 39.6 

million. In Hansabank Group’s income statement net income from 

insurance activities totalled EEK 26.5 million. In the first quarter 

Eesti Kindlustus formed 5.6% of Hansabank Group’s total revenues, 

8.1% of total expenses and 0.3% of net profit. As at March 31 total 

assets of Eesti Kindlustus formed 0.8% of Hansabank Group’s total 

assets.

Hansapank hereby confirms that the transaction is not deemed to be 

as a transaction with a related party.
