Pursuant to sections 3 and 8 of article 8 of the law on establishment 

of and equity-holding in private legal entities by the state, the 

Minister of Finance recalled the representative of the Ministry of 

Finance, Mr. Peeter Tammistu, from the Supervisory Board of AS Eesti 

Telekom.

A new Supervisory Board member to replace Mr. Tammistu will not be 

appointed before the annual general meeting of the company’s 

shareholders in May 1999.
