MANAGEMENT BOARD'S DECISION ABOUT 31.12.99

 

The Management Board of Optiva Pank decided to follow the working 

regimens of other European and Estonian banks, and also the Tallinn 

Stock Exchange and Estonian Central Depository for Securities, and 

to close Optiva Pank's branch offices on Friday, 31.12.99.

 

All other electronic channels will work as regular, incl. Optiva 

Telepank, Optiva Direct, Microbanker Pro, also Optiva Pank's ATMs 

and bank cards.

Payment orders entered through the electronic channels on 31.12.99 

will be processed on 03.01.2000.

 

Optiva Telepank's 24h information line (+372 63 02 230) will work 

as regular.

The bank's branch offices will be open on 03.01.2000.

 

Optiva Pank has conducted all Y2K tests and made other 

preparations. On 31.12.99 Optiva Pank will also save a backup-copy 

of the bank's information system on a date-proof data carrier, thus 

ensuring preservation of client information and continuity of the 

bank's operations during the first days of year 2000.
