FINANCIAL RESULTS OF SAULES LAIKS (SUBSIDIARY OF LEKS KINDLUSTUSE AS) 

 

The subsidiary of Leks Kindlustus in Latvia, Saules Laiks, collected in 

January 1999 insurance premiums in the amount of 85.3 thousand LVL. The 

claims paid by the insurance company in January amounted to 55.4 

thousand LVL.

 

During the same period year ago, Saules Laiks collected insurance 

premiums in the amount of 67.6 thousand LVL, and paid claims in the 

amount of 53.1 thousand LVL.

 

The greatest share among the insurance premiums collected by Saules 

Laiks this January was contributed by voluntary vehicle insurance (22.2 

thousand LVL) and motor TPL insurance(45.7 thousand LVL).
