PRELIMINARY 1998 FINANCIAL RESULTS OF AS HARJU ELEKTER

 

The year 1998 was a successful one for AS Harju Elekter. According to 

the preliminary unaudited and unconsolidated data (not including the 

subsidiaries and associated companies), the net sales amounted to 147.9 

million EEK (1997- 108.3 million EEK) and gross profit 13.9 million EEK 

(1997- 9.9 million EEK). compared with 1997, the turnover increased by 

36.6% an profit by 40.4%.

 

The turnover increased by the fields of activity as follows (million 

EEK):

The volume of exports in 1998 increased by 133.7% (1998- 64.6 million 

EEK; 1997- 48.3 million EEK)
