COMMENTARY TO BNS NEWS OF 16.11.1999

 

The news published in Lithuanian business paper Verslo Zinios about 

AS Rakvere Lihakombinaat intention to invest in Republic of 

Lithuania is premature. The executives of AS Rakvere Lihakombinaat 

have not discussed nor approved the aforementioned investment. 

 

The 18.11.99 meeting mentioned in the commentary was a regular 

meeting, where the company's day-to-day activities and improvement 

of production effectiveness were discussed. No strategic decisions 

are made in such meetings.
