ANNOUNCEMENT

We hereby announce that:

 

1. Investors interested in reorganization of EVEA Pank and investment 

in the bank, lead by a company named Briggs Finances Limited, have 

concluded share purchase agreements with the shareholders of EVEA 

Panga, due to which the new investors will acquire a total of 67.8% 

shareholding in EVEA Pank.

 

2. According to the announcement published in Eesti Päevaleht on 

04.02.99 and based on § 106 of the Law on Bankruptcy, the creditors of 

EVEA Panga AS are convened for a meeting on 21.02.1999, 12:00 noon. The 

agenda of the meeting includes the revision of the compromise proposal 

presented by EVEA Panga AS to the temporary trustee in bankruptcy, Ms. 

Tiina Mitt, and making a compromise decision.

 

3. The representative of Briggs Finance Limited will meet today with 

the representatives of the Bank of Estonia in order to confirm the 

existence of the funds to be invested in EVEA Pank.
