EESTI KINDLUSTUS GROUP COLLECTED EEK 316 MILLION OF PREMIUMS IN 

1998

 

Eesti Kindlustus Group collected EEK 28.9 million of insurance 

premiums in December of 1998, exceeding previous year's same 

month's result by 12.0%. Over the 12 months of the year, 

insurance premiums total EEK 315.9 million, which is 26.9% more 

than in the same period last year.

Eesti Elukindlustus AS (Estonian Life-Insurance Ltd.) collected 

EEK 7.5 million of premiums in December, which is 19.4% more 

than a year ago.

Eesti Varakindlustuse Kontsern (Estonian Non-life Insurance 

Group) (without KDK) collected EEK 21.4 million in December, 

exceeding last year's comparable result by 9.7%.

The distribution of insurance premiums by categories was the

In December indemnities were paid in the total amount of EEK 

13.2 million, incl. life insurance EEK 3.0 million and non-life 

insurance EEK 10.2 million. During 1998 a total of EEK 144.4 

million was paid as indemnities.
