FINANCIAL RESULTS OF SUBSIDIARY  

 

The subsidiary of Leks Kindlustus in Latvia, Saules Laiks (Leks Kindlustus 

owns 78.1% of its shares) collected the insurance premiums in the amount 

of 1.17 million LVL during the first 10 months of the present year, of which 

102 thousand LVL was collected in October.

In October, the insurance company paid claims in the amount of 56.6 thousand LVL, 

which is approximately 1.3 million EEK.

Compared with the first ten months of the previous year, the insurance premiums

collected by Saules Laiks have increased by 4%. The insurance company has paid the 

claims during the first 10 months in the amount of a little less than half a million 

LVL, or approximately 11.4 million EEK, which is 28% more than during the same period 

last year.

The greatest share among the insurance premiums collected by Saules Laiks 

during 10 months is contributed by the voluntary vehicle insurance and the

motor TPL insurance.
