SALES RESULTS, MAY 2000



In May 2000 Leks Kindlustus collected EEK 18.4 million in insurance 

premiums (total EEK 97 million in 5 months). During the same period 

the company paid claims in total amount of EEK 9.1 million (total EEK 

46.3 million in 5 months).



In May 2000 Leks Kindlustus earned EEK 8.2 million in motor TPL

insurance premiums; in five months Leks has collected EEK 45.7 mln in 

motor TPL insurance premiums, compared to EEK 33.9 mln in five months 

of 1999 (35% y-o-y growth). In May Leks paid EEK 3.8 mln in claims 

(EEK 20.7 mln in five months).



Corporate kasko insurance premiums in May amounted to EEK 4.2 mln 

(EEK 20.4 mln in five months). Claims paid in this line of insurance 

stood in May at EEK 2 mln (EEK 11.7 mln in five months). 



Corporate property insurance premiums in May amounted to EEK 1.5 

mln (EEK 8.2 mln in five months). Claims paid in this line of 

insurance stood in May at EEK 300 thousand (EEK 3 mln in five 

months). 



Private property insurance premiums in May amounted to EEK 1.4 

mln (EEK 6.5 mln in five months). Claims paid in this line of 

insurance stood in May at EEK 196 thousand (EEK 686 thousand in 

five months). 



Private kasko insurance premiums in May amounted to EEK 1.3 mln 

(EEK 6.6 mln in five months). Claims paid in this line of insurance 

stood in May at EEK 843 thousand (EEK 5.6 mln in five months).

In May 2000 Leks Kindlustus earned EEK 1.5 million in service fees 

from motor TPL insurance premiums (EEK 7.5 mln in five months of
