ANNOUNCEMENT



INTEREST PAYMENTS FROM I, IV, V AND XI-SERIES BONDS



Hüvitusfond will redeem the issues of I and IV-series (public issues), and 

XI-series (closed issue) bonds on 26.09.2000. On the date of redemption the 

bondholders will receive interest payments for the previous year in addition 

to the redemption payment.



Interest payments will be made to investors holding the respective bonds as 

of the end-day of 24.09.2000, according to the data of the securities 

register of the Estonian Central Depository for Securities.



Redemption payments will be made to investors holding the respective bonds as 

of 26.09.2000 at 8:00 a.m., according to the data of the securities register 

of the Estonian Central Depository for Securities.



Base interest paid to the holders of I, IV, XI-series bonds is 7% (EEK 7 per 

bond), and additional interest 0%. 



Volume of I-series bond issue is EEK 11,057,300, IV-series EEK 25,000,000 and 

XI-series EEK 42,940,100. 



Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the holders of I, IV and XI-series 

bonds in total amount of 5.5 million EEK, and redemption payments in total 

amount of EEK 79 million. Altogether 459 private investors and 17 corporate 

investors will receive interest and redemption payments.







Base interest paid to the holders of public issue of V-series bonds is 7% 

(EEK 7 per bond), and additional interest 0%.



Interest payments will be made to investors holding the respective bonds as 

of end-day of 24.09.2000, according to the data of the securities register 

of the Estonian Central Depository for Securities.



Interest payments will be made to investors holding the V-series bonds once 

per year, on September 26. V-series bonds will be redeemed on 26.09.2001. 

Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the holders of V-series bonds in 

total amount of 2.8 million EEK. Altogether 2914 private investors and 15 

corporate investors will receive interest and redemption payments.



Interest payments from Hüvitusfond bonds to private persons are exempt from 

income tax.
