SAKU ÕLLETEHAS RECEIVED ISO 9001 QUALITY CERTIFICATE



Well-known international certification agency Lloyd’s Register 

Quality Assurance (LRQA) issued an ISO 9001 quality management 

certificate to Saku Õlletehas.



Saku was the first brewery in Estonia to receive the ISO certificate. 

The quality management system of Saku Õlletehas includes product 

development, production and sale of beer, low-alcohol beverages and 

mineral water, and sale of soft drinks.



According to Cardo Remmel, head of the Management Board of Saku 

Õlletehas, acquisition of ISO certificate gives a quality guarantee 

to the company’s clients, meaning that Saku Õlletehas produces and 

sells high-quality products. Having an ISO certificate also supports 

Saku’s possible entrance to European markets in the future.
