ABOUT CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP IN AS EESTI TELEKOM



In  connection to the speculations that have been  published

in  media about the change of ownership in AS Eesti  Telekom

(Estonian  Telecom),  we hold the opinion  to  announce  the

following:



1)  The  management of Eesti Telekom has no information 

of   offers   made   or  negotiations   between   major 

shareholders concerning the change of structure of  the 

ownership in AS Eesti Telekom;



2) It is unfortunate if there has been a possibility to 

misinterpret  the statements of the representatives  of 

Eesti Telekom.



AS Eesti Telekom apologises again for the misunderstandings

which may have arisen.
