MERKO AND COMLIET HAVE ACQUIRED TELEGRUPP



On 4 July 2002 AS Merko Ehitus and UAB Comliet, the largest subsidiary of

AB Lietuvos Telekomas, acquired a 100% stake in the Estonian company AS 

Telegrupp. UAB Comliet will control 55% of shares and AS Merko Ehitus will

own a 45% stake.

 

The branch of business of AS Telegrupp covers construction and maintenance 

of low voltage network and telecommunication systems.



The above transaction shall not be considered as transaction with related

parties.
