ADDITIONAL INTREST FOR I HALF-YEAR OF 2002



The Council of Compensation Fund confirmed additonal

interest for the first half-year of 2002 to be 0%. The

Council decides on additional interest taking into

account yield of other similar investment products and

Compensation Fund’s economic results.

Interest paid for bondholders of Compensaton Fund bonds

is fixed 7%. That is higher than yield of corresponding

investment opportunities (bank deposits) and therefore

offering higher yield than market average can not be

justified.

The Council of Compensation Fund decides on additional

interest twice a year by latest of January 20 and July

20, respectively.
