APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY WORK STOPPAGE



In Russia, a complicated market situation has arisen 

which significantly affects AVTOVAZ who is the primary 

buyer of AS Norma safety belts in Russia. From 26 October 

to 9 November 2002, all work on AVTOVAZ assembly lines 

has been stopped. In view of this situation, the 

management board of AS Norma has decided to request from 

the Republic of Estonia Labour Inspectorate the 

application of part-time working time or holiday with 

partial pay for the duration of up to three weeks within 

the next three months. 

The public will be notified about the application of 

part-time working time or holiday with partial pay in AS 

Norma via the information system of the Tallinn Stock 

Exchange.
