PARTIAL CLOSURE OF PRODUCTION



Tallinna Farmaatsiatehase AS`s production of injections doesn´t meet the

requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice. To satisfy the requirements it

is assumed to make big investments in injection department. Therefore it is

not applied for extension of activity license from State Agency of Medicines

and activity in injection department will be closed since 1 July 2003. On the

assumption of aforgiven will be terminated contracts of employment

approximately with 40 employees which makes up about 30% of total amount of

workers.
