THE CHAIRMAN OF EESTI POST RESIGNED



Alo Streimann, chairman of the management board of AS Eesti Post, submitted 

a letter of resignation to the supervisory board of the company, and the

supervisory board accepted it last night. 



"During the past year, the bonds of Eesti Post were listed on the stock

exchange, the management has prepared a vision and strategy," said Alo

Streimann, who was elected as the chairman of the management board last

autumn. "As the development of any company comprises different stages, I

found that at the moment it would be appropriate to provide an opportunity

for the entry of a new manager since a new management stage is likely to

start."



Jüri Ehasalu, chairman of the supervisory board of Eesti Post announced that

a public competition to find a new manager would be declared in a few days.
