NEW CEO OF HANSABANKAS IS GIEDRIUS DUSEVICIUS



The new CEO of Hansabankas will be Giedrius Dusevicius, current member

of the Board of Hansabankas and head of the Lithuanian leasing

operations.



The Chairman of the Council, Anders Sahlén, said that he is going to

propose to the Council that Giedrius Dusevicius be appointed as a

member of the Board of Hansabank and as the Chief Executive Officer of

Hansabankas. The Council will convene for its next regular meeting on

January 29.



"Giedrius Dusevicius is highly respected among his colleagues and the

business community. I will be pleased to present his candidacy to the

Council", said Anders Sahlén.



The Chairman of the Board, Indrek Neivelt said that Giedrius

Dusevicius has demonstrated himself as a capable leader and built up

one of the leading leasing company in Lithuania. "Our goal in

Lithuania is clear - to develop from the largest retail bank to the

leading universal bank of the country. With this in mind, Giedrius’

excellent knowledge of the corporate sector from his previous

assignment is a valuable asset," said Neivelt.



Giedrius Dusevicius has been in Hansabank Group since 1996, heading

the Lithuanian leasing and factoring operations.
