ABOUT QUALIFYING HOLDING IN HANSAPANK



The notice of disposal of a qualifying holding in AS Hansapank, issued 

by Fidelity Investments on August 20, 2004, arrived at the Estonian CSD on 

August 23, 2004.



In compliance with §§ 185 and 187 of the Securities Market Act, Fidelity 

Investments sent a notice to the person maintaining the share register of 

AS Hansapank to the effect that FMR Corp., Fidelity International Limited 

and each of their direct and indirect subsidiaries have fallen below the 

5% threshold of the voting stock in AS Hansapank as of August 19, 2004.
