INTENTION TO NOMINATE EMT AS A COMPANY WITH SMP



On     September     7th,    the    Estonian    National

Communications  Board presented a letter to AS EMT (fully

owned  by AS Eesti Telekom), in which, according to   the

§  8,   section   4   of   the   Telecommunication   Law,

the  Communications  Board  announces  its  intention  to

pronounce  AS  EMT  to a company with significant  market

power  for the year 2005on the mobile  telephone services

market.



According to the Estonian Telecommunication Law,  AS  EMT

has  two  months time to present a written opinion  about

the  intention  of  its  nomination  as  a  company  with

significant market power.



AS  EMT had also been declared for 2002, 2003 and 2004 as

an  enterprise   with  significant market  power  on  the

mobile telephone services market.
