RSE Management Board resolved to resume the trading with JSC "Liepājas

metalurgs shares on the Second list from 15:00 of August 27, 2004.

The decision has been taken pursuant to the provisions of Item 12.2.4.3

of  the "Financial Instrument Trading Rules". The company has disclosed

the information requested by the RSE about the planned modernisation of

"Liepājas metalurgs" and the related investment amount.
