In  2004  JSC  ""Valmieras  stikla  šķiedra"  has launched 8 investment

projects  within  the  framework  of  the investment plan for the year,

amounting  to  EUR  10  million. The company has taken both a long-term

loan as well as has opened a credit line, amounting to EUR 7.5 million,

from "Vereinsbank" and "Hansabanka"; the company own investment will be

EUR 2 million.



The  loans  will  be  spent  on  projects related to increase of labour

productivity, implementation of new technologies and new products. Some

of  the projects will be finalised already in the autumn, the remaining

- next year.
