Hereby JSC Latvijas kuģniecība (LASCO) informs that today, 2 June 2004,

it took delivery of a one-year old product tanker Kaltene .

The  above-mentioned  vessel  is  the  last  of three MR (middle-range)

product  tankers  purchased  by  LASCO  pursuant  to  the  Memoranda of

Agreement  (MOA)  signed  with each of Pink Star Shipping Ltd. , Purple

Star Shipping Ltd. and Coral Star Shipping Ltd. on February 18, 2004 .

As  reported  earlier, the three 37-deadweight-ton tankers are built to

ice  class  and designed to carry light oil products. All three vessels

were built in 2003.

The  first two tankers Kolka and Kuldiga were delivered to LASCO on May

20, 2004 and May 24, 2004 respectively.

At  present  LASCO  Group's fleet consists of 33 product tankers, 2 LPG

carriers, 5 reefer vessels and 1 Ro-Ro/general cargo vessel.
