In  2003  the  profit  remaining at the disposal of JSC "Latvijas Gāze"

amounted  to  LVL  13 million, which is by 6.8% of LVL 0.8 million more

than  in  2002.  Total revenues from sale of natural gas and other core

services  amounted  to LVL 112.9 million in 2003 (a 13.3% increase over

the previous period). In physical volumes the gas sales in 2003 reached

1.63  billion  cubic  metres,  which  is by 3.8% more than in 2002. Gas

supplies  to new clients and the low temperatures in the 1st quarter of

2003 accounted for the increase of natural gas sales.
