JSC  "Valmieras  stikla šķiedra" net sales in the first three months of

2004  amounted  to LVL 6.94 million, which is by 55.6% more than in the

respective  period  of  2003  (LVL  4.46 million), and exceeds the 2004

3-month  target  (LVL  5.19  million).  Net profit amounts to LVL 660.5

thousand,  which exceeds the target (LVL 354 thousand) and 2003 3-month

profit (LVL 291.3 thousand).

Supervisory  Board  meeting  will  take place on April 23; 2003 audited

results will be released on April 26.
