In January 2004 Ventspils Nafta Termināls, Ltd. - a daughter company of

Ventspils  Nafta,  JSC  - handled more than 1.1 million tonnes of crude

oil and petroleum products.

The total volume of throughput was made up of almost 0.5 million tonnes

of  gas  oil, including 0.4 million tonnes of crude oil, as well as 0.2

million tonnes of gasolines of various grades.

Both  cargoes  of  crude  oil  and petroleum products were delivered to

Ventspils  Nafta  Termināls  by  railroad.  In  2003  in  the result of

successful  commercial  activities  cargo supplies from railroad to the

terminal of Ventspils Nafta increased by 68%.

In  January  2003 the terminal of Ventspils Nafta handled slightly less

than  a million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products delivered by

railroad.
