On  Monday 19 January, repeated extraordinary general meeting of Public

Joint   Stock  Company  Grindeks  shareholders  was  not  held  due  to

insufficient  quorum - registered shareholders represented only 18.36 %

of the stock capital instead of necessary 25 %.

The next repeated extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be

convened in compliance with the law not later than 2 (two) months after

the  original general meeting of shareholders, that is, during the time

period until 23 February 2004.
