On  January  8,  2004  JSC  "NORD/LB Latvija" daughter company "NORD/LB

Līzings"  was  registered  at  the Company Register. The new company is

expected  to  combine  the know-how of the parent company "NORD/LB" and

the  sister  company  "NORD/LB Lietuva" in the leasing business, and to

penetrate   into  the  Latvian  leasing  and  factoring  market.  Artis

Birkmanis is the CEO of the new company.
