Financial  and  Capital Market Commission (FCMC), pursuant to Item 1.10

of  FCMC "Regulations on buyout of shares", hereby advises that a share

buyout  offer  was  received  on 10.11.2003 from Ministry of Economy of

Republic  of  Latvia  offering to buy out JSC "Latvijas Gāze" shares at

LVL 5.50 per share.



Shareholders  may  respond to the offer within four weeks starting from

the  next  business day after the advertisement on the share buyout has

been published in the newspaper "Latvijas Vēstnesis".



Share  buyout  comes into effect only after it has been approved by the

Financial and Capital Market Commission.
