JSC  "Latvijas  kuģniecība" confirms that the notification submitted to

the RSE on October 29, 2003 with regard to disposal of reefers is true,

and the transfer of the reefers to the new owners is in progress.



JSC  "Latvijas kuģniecība" refuses to assume any responsibility for the

inaccuracy  and inadequacy of the facts in journalist Golubev's article

published in newspaper Biznes&Baltija on October 30.
