Financial  and  Capital Market Commission (FCMC), pursuant to Item 1.10

of  FCMC "Regulations on buyout of shares", hereby advises that a share

buyout  offer  was  received  on  10.10.2003  from  SIA  "Liplats 2000"

offering  to  buy  out  JSC  "Kalceks"  shares  at  LVL 0.36 per share.

Shareholders  may respond to the offer within 30 days starting from the

next  business day after the advertisement on the share buyout has been

published in the newspaper "Latvijas Vēstnesis".

Share  buyout  comes into effect only after it has been approved by the

Financial and Capital Market Commission.
