Starting with October 1, 2003, a new Leasing and Factoring Division has

been  set  up  at   "NORD/LB  Latvija",  with  a  staff of four leasing

professionals. The Bank demonstrates its intentions to become a visible

player  in  the leasing market, and to make itself a serious competitor

to  existing  leasing  companies. "NORD/LB Latvija" expects to increase

its leasing portfolio by EUR 33 million over the next year.
