As of today, JSC "Ventspils nafta" does not have any comments as to the

information  published  in newspaper "Diena" regarding possible changes

in  the  company  management  - there has not been a single resignation

letter  received  from a key official. Pursuant to the Company Charter,

Management  Board  members  may be suspended from the position with the

approval  by  Supervisory  Board,  whereas  the  decision  about  their

revoking has to be passed by general meeting of shareholders.
