Riga   Sock  Exchange,  jointly  with  brokerage  company  Suprema,  is

organising  roadshows  to the potential "Latvijas kuģniecība" investors

in  the  anticipation  of  the  auction  of  11,515,086 (5.75% of share

capital)  "Latvijas kuģniecība" shares put out for sale in domestic and

international  market.  The  roadshows  will   take place in Stockholm,

Helsinki,  Tallinn and Riga.  The auction will be held on September 15,

2003.



Privatisation  Agency  Management  Board  resolved  on  its  meeting of

September  2,  2003 that  the  bottom  price  for "Latvijas kuģniecība"

shares, as proposed by the RSE, will be LVL 0.34 per share.



Any  investor may participate in the auction. The bids for auction will

be  accepted  by  the  banks  and  brokerage companies that are the RSE

members,  from  September 9, 2003 till 14:00 (Latvia time) of September

15, 2003. The bids should specify the highest price the bidder is ready

to  pay  for  one  share, provided that it is not lower than the bottom

price;  as well as the number of shares the participant is bidding for.
