 In the first 4 months of 2003 JSC "Valmieras stikla šķiedra" net sales

amount to LVL 6 million and 17.1 thousand, which is 31.1% of the target

for  the year (LVL 19 million 341.2 thousand); net profit earned during

the four months is LVL 373.8 thousand (target LVL 333 thousand).

AGM  of  shareholders  will be held on May 17, 2003, and is expected to

approve  the  budget  for 2003. According to the draft budget for 2003,

net profit is planned to be LVL 993 595.
