 In  the  first three months of 2003 JSC "Valmieras stikla šķiedra" net

sales amount to LVL 4 million 454.9 thousand or 23.0% of the target for

the  year (LVL 19 million 341.2 thousand). The net profit earned in the

first  three  months  of 2003 is LVL 291,300 or 29.3% of the target for

the  year  (LVL 993.6 thousand). LVL 397 thousand have been invested in

technological equipment and plant during the first quarter of 2003.
