JSC  "Ventspils  nafta"  has started to reload crude oil transported by

rail  as  a  part of the implementation of new client attracting policy

and  expanding  the  range  of services offered. The service has become

possible  from  the technological point of view owing to the purposeful

modernisation  and  upgrading policy implemented over the recent years.

It  is the first time after a 20-year break when crude oil delivered by

rail  was reloaded. It is expected that in future JSC "Ventspils nafta"

will  receive  crude oil by rail on regular basis. Company has approved

the  terminal  tariff policy for 2003 in order to increase the clients'

interest in using JSC "Ventspils nafta" services.
