JSC  Ventspils  nafta  has  received  official  confirmation  that  JSC

Ventspils  nafta,  by  taking  part  in  cash  offering of JSC Latvijas

Kuģniecība  shares run by Latvian Privatization Agency, has acquired 62

538  261  Latvijas  Kuģniecība  shares or 31.27% of Latvijas Kuģniecība

share  capital.  Decision  to  take part in this action was made due to

growing  competition  and  with  a  goal  to  diversify  risks  for JSC

Ventspils nafta in oil transit business.
