Since  1998  JSC  "Rīgas kuģu būvētava" has built 41 ship bodies, which

averages to 12 per year. Also this year the company intends to build 12

ship bodies. Most of the building is contracted by Norwegian companies.

"Rīgas  kuģu  būvētava", apart from building and repairing ship bodies,

also  is able to elongate the vessels. Currently the company is working

on  German  fishing  boat  Hannover  , which will be lengthened from 68

metres  to  86  metres,  and  also  aligned  with  the latest technical

requirements.
