JSC  "Pirmā  banka"  general  meeting  of shareholders approved Annual

Report  for  2001 and audited financial statements, and elected the new

Supervisory  Board,  now  to  be  complemented  by representatives from

Latvia  - Baiba Rubess, Director of "Latvija Statoil", and Juris Binde,

President of "Latvijas Mobilais telefons".

In  2001  "Pirmā  banka"  has  made  a  profit after provisions LVL 301

thousand.  The  shareholders  approved  the  profit distribution plans,

which  include  a  dividend payment of LVL 0.01 per share (totalling to

LVL 201.6 thousand).

The meeting approved the business plan for 2002 and expects the Bank to

make a profit close to LVL 1 million.
