Today Financial and Capital Markets Commission approved Bank Baltikums

as  the  custodian  bank  for  "Valsts  obligāciju  fonds"  fund units.

Baltikums  Asset  Management,  a  part  of Baltikums Bank Group, is the

asset manager for Valsts obligāciju fonds and Baltic Index Fund.

Bank  Baltikums, as the official distributor of Valsts obligāciju fonds

and  Baltic  Index  Fund  fund  units,  is  offering  the units free of

commission charge between March 1 and April 1.

Valsts  obligāciju  fonds is an open-end investment fund, investing its

assets  in government issued and guaranteed bills, bonds and Eurobonds.

Baltic  Index  Fund  is an open-end investment fund investing in Baltic

list  index equities. Both the funds are listed on the Official List of

the Riga Stock Exchange.
