In 11 month of 2000 Insurance Group (IG) "Balta" has signed in non-life

insurance  premiums  LVL  17  231 726, but in life insurance - 853 626.

Therefore  JSC "Balta" is a leader in risk as well as in life insurance

market.  In  insurance  compensations  LVL  8  310  467 and LVL 400 921

respectively were paid.

Total compensation level is 47,4%.

IG  "Balta" was founded at the end of 1999 and contains 21% of risk and

27% of life insurance market in Latvia.

IG "Balta" includes "Balta", "Rigas Apdrosinasanas sabiedriba" and life

insurance company "Latva".
