Riga, Latvia - December1, 2000 - JSC "Staburadze" informs, that company

has paid USD 8 million for acquiring of SIA "NTBDC L" capital parts.

So  far JSC "Staburadze" did not announce amount paid for company since

both parties have agreed not to make this information public.

This  announcement is intended to overturn rumours in press that amount

paid was LVL 8 million.

JSC  "Staburadze"  has  made this information public because Securities

Exchange commission of Latvian republic has demanded it.
