JSC  "Rezeknes  piena konservu kombinats" informs that on September 22,

contract  was  signed  to  rent JSC "Rezeknes piena konservu kombinats"

heating  plant  to local non-profit heating company "Siltums". Contract

foresees that 62

heating  plant  workers  are transferred to company "Siltums". Contract

was   signed   in  co-ordination  with  Rezekne  City  Council  who  is

responsible  for  heat  and  hot  water  supply  to  city  housing  and

institutions. Production of heat has become unprofitable as a result of

decrease of number of consumers, increase of debt for heat and increase

of fuel price.
