JSC "Latvijas Gaze" informs that technological accident in Russian main

gas pipeline system in Valdaja region last night caused interruption in

gas supply for Latvia, as a result gas pumping in Incukalns underground

gas  storage  was  interrupted as well. JSC "Latvijas Gaze" information

presents that emergency work in Russia could be completed in 3 days and

supply of gas would be resumed.

As  a  result  "Gazprom"  asked JSC "Latvijas Gaze" during this time to

supply  Latvian  as  well  as Estonian, St. Petersburg and Pskov region

clients  with gas from Incukalns underground gas storage. JSC "Latvijas

Gaze"  has  agreed  and at present Incukalns underground gas storage is

functioning in reverse regime.
