Those  are  closed  issue  shares,  which  in  compliance with November

18,1998

agreement,  were  acquired  by  Sweedish  bank"  Skandinaviska Enskilda

Banken  AB  (publ)".  On  the  January  5,1999  JSC "Latvijas Unibanka"

shareholders  general  meeting  made  a decision about 8th closed share

issue. On the April 21,1999

Securities  Market  Commission authorisation was granted. JSC "Latvijas

Unibanka"  share  capital at the time of share issue is LVL 37 105 655;

number of issued shares - 37 075 655.
