In  the  JSC  "Latvijas  Unibanka" last weeks Supervisory Board meeting

plans  of  operations  in  the  1999  were  discussed and agreement was

achieved regarding new management structure, enforced starting April 1.

Majority stock holders have achieved agreement regarding composition of

Management  Board and Supervisory Board. Therefore two new members will

be  added  to  the  Supervisory  Board.  SEB  has announced that former

position  of  European  Bank  of  Reconstruction and Development in the

Supervisory  Board  of  JSC  "Latvijas  Unibanka"  will  be occupied by

prominent Latvian entrepreneur.

Vice  president  of JSC "Latvijas Unibanka" Ivars Kirsons has submitted

resignation  from  the  work in the bank starting March 30. I. Kirsonns

has worked in the JSC "Latvijas Unibanka" for more than five years, and

already  earlier  has  expressed  desire to practise and to perfect his

knowledge abroad.
